Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, cognition, and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Adhere to all licensing, safety, and facility guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Certification in CPR/BLS.
- Ability to pass background checks, including criminal, sex offender, and Department of Children and Families (DCF) screenings.
- COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results within 72 hours of start date.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience with dementia care is a plus.
