Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
• Administer rehabilitative exercises and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to supervising therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and treatment outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols.
• Support patient education and motivation throughout treatment processes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license for the state of Kansas.
• Prior experience with Rehab Optima and familiarity with credentialing procedures.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and assist with therapeutic procedures.
• Knowledge of safety and confidentiality standards pertinent to healthcare.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in hospital settings.
• Knowledge of federal and state criminal background checks and compliance processes.
• Experience with nationwide sex offender and SSN trace searches.
• Familiarity with drug screening procedures in healthcare environments.
