- Full-time, travel assignment, days shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, ensuring safety and adherence to medical protocols.
- Monitor fetal heart rates using advanced equipment and maintain detailed documentation in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for high-risk antepartum, postpartum, and high-acuity patients.
- Manage patient flow and maintain optimal patient-to-nurse ratios, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Valid BLS certification.
- NRP certification required; ACLS and ALS preferred.
- Proven expertise in fetal monitoring, including use of Novii and GE FHR monitors, fetal scalp electrodes, and EMR systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Mom/Baby, Peds, and NICU care.
- Knowledge of both vaginal and C-section delivery procedures.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
