Travel, Night shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care to telemetry patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety.
• Float to various hospital units as needed based on staffing and patient acuity.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana or a Compact state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• One year of recent nursing experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in telemetry or cardiology nursing preferred.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
