• Night shifts, full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients, including those with congenital heart disease and post-surgical needs
• Monitor and support patients with complex cardiac conditions, including those requiring Ventricular Assist Devices, ECMO, and heart transplants
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure positive outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, adhering to hospital protocols
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records (EPIC)
• Participate in weekend rotations, holiday coverage, and on-call duties as required based on ICU scheduling
Required Qualifications
• Active SC or multi-state/compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications (AHA only)
• Recent experience with pediatric and CVICU patients, including complex medical diagnoses and procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) experience
• ACLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Experience working in a Magnet-recognized, award-winning pediatric ICU unit

Additional Notes
• Traveler must have at least 2 years of relevant ICU experience and be able to provide RTO requests at submission
• Guaranteed hours with potential for short cancellations based on unit needs
