Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to ICU patients, including those post thrombectomy and TPA administration, as well as neurosurgery patients.
• Monitor and perform procedures such as CRRT, bedside EVD management, and A-line monitoring.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Follow unit-specific policies and documentation procedures using Cerner system.
• Adhere to patient experience and safety standards, including certification and equipment protocols.
• Float between ICU units as needed, prioritizing ICU or step-down care.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• Experience caring for neurology patients, particularly post thrombectomy and TPA.
• Ability to perform critical procedures such as CRRT and managing bedside EVDs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurology ICU experience.
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system.
• Experience working with Baxter pumps and other ICU equipment.
