Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Fabricate specialized treatment aides and set up treatment protocols across all treatment sites.
• Utilize Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and EMR systems (Meditech until October 2025, Epic thereafter).
• Assess patient data, monitor patient response, and provide care tailored to patients' age-specific needs.
• Treat approximately 25-30 patients per day, ensuring accurate and effective delivery of radiation therapy modalities such as 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in a comprehensive cancer treatment environment.

Required Qualifications

• Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license in Radiation Therapy.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in imaging or radiation therapy procedures.
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and ARIA EMR systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within a comprehensive cancer center.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of growth and development principles applicable across the lifespan.
