Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical review and auto-offer processing for respiratory therapy patient cases
- Manage patient care during night shifts, ensuring compliance with clinical standards
- Collaborate with hospital staff and management regarding patient treatment plans
- Support coverage during winter holidays as required
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all licensing and certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience; 4 years preferred
- Must hold or be eligible for a state license (VA license preferred, with temporary license options available)
- Ability to obtain a temporary license if necessary
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiopulmonary Support Certification (ACCS) preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting
