Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately, including critical rhythms.
• Pass hospital proctored rhythm identification tests with an accuracy of over 80%.
• Chart patient information using Epic electronic health record system.
• Manage critical drips and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid New York RN license in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with Epic charting.
• Experience managing critical drips; CVA experience a plus.
• Current telemetry experience with at least one year of relevant practice.
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a hospital setting with telemetry patients.
• Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and emergency response.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
