Key Responsibilities
• Assist surgical teams during outpatient, inpatient, and community hospital procedures, including orthopedic, neuro, and vascular cases.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile environments for various surgical specialties.
• Support surgical staff during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining patient safety.
• Adhere to facility protocols for rapid response in trauma or emergency cases.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the hospital’s charting system.
• Rotate through on-call duties, including one weeknight per week and every 2nd or 3rd weekend, with a 20-minute response time.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical technician experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work flexible start times, typically between 7am and 9am.
• First-time Techs accepted with appropriate certification.
• Willingness to work weekends and on-call hours.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with outpatient and inpatient surgeries, including trauma cases.
• Familiarity with orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and trauma procedures.
• Experience working in a hospital setting using Epic charting system.
