Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical floor with 8 pediatric beds, requiring experience in both adult and pediatric medical-surgical nursing
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios: 1:5 for adults, 1:4 for pediatrics
- Deliver compassionate, quality care while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and communication
- Work within a dynamic environment, capable of managing both adult and pediatric patient needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Maryland or eligible for reciprocity
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 13 weeks of relevant experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
- Experience with pediatric patients is required
- Ability to work night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Experience caring for both adult and pediatric populations in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
