Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting.
- Utilize EMR systems and operate medical equipment such as Lucas, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors.
- Perform procedures including splinting and breathing treatments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and efficient flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies and protocols.
- Support patient care for varied acuity levels, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and pediatrics.
Required Qualifications
- Valid AK RN license at the time of submission.
- Minimum of 2 years ER experience.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC.
- Ability to perform common ER procedures such as splinting and breathing treatments.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with trauma and pediatrics contexts.
- Prior work with stroke and STEMI protocols.
- Strong team player with flexible, positive, and outgoing personality traits.
