Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule / Job Type
• Contract / Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 13-week assignment, full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients in a specialized medical intensive care unit.
• Monitor and titrate IV drips and medications, ensuring patient stability and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform procedures such as insertion of A-lines, central lines, chest tubes, and cardioversion.
• Document patient status and treatment details accurately in Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding clinical practice, safety, and dress code.

Required Qualifications
• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, including general ICU and titration of drips.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH certification required.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
• Ability to float as needed according to hospital policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Neuro ICU experience and assessment skills.
• Experience with CABG, CRRT, Prisma Flex, and other advanced ICU procedures.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient cases.
