Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients.
• Assist with vaginal and C-section deliveries, utilizing fetal monitoring equipment and advanced neonatal procedures.
• Coordinate and direct comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols, including equipment usage and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment.
• Document patient care accurately within electronic medical records systems such as CPN and Meditech.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Current BLS, NRP certifications.
• Valid RN license.
• Ability to operate FHR monitors, fetal scalp electrodes, and other labor and delivery equipment.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS and ALS certifications.
• Experience in Mom/Baby, peds, or NICU settings.
• Familiarity with advanced fetal monitoring technologies and neonatal procedures.

Additional Information
• Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Start date is projected for October 6, 2025.
• No RTO or special scheduling restrictions.
• The unit features 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 ORs, with patient ratios of 2:1 and 1:1 for high-acuity cases.
• The team utilizes advanced fetal monitoring technology, including Novii and GE monitors, and electronic medical records via CPN and Meditech.
