Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including those undergoing vaginal and C-section deliveries.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through the nursing process.
- Coordinate and direct all nursing activities for labor, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and manage delivery procedures using specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow unit policies, guidelines, and utilize current technology to deliver quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- BLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Valid RN license
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with mom/baby, peds, or NICU settings
- Hands-on experience with fetal monitoring and delivery procedures
- Flexible, dependable, and friendly personality suitable for a high-pressure environment
