- Full-time, Contract (13 weeks), Days shift, on-call rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room for various surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including general, gynecology, orthopedic, endoscopy, ENT, and ophthalmology.
- Assist with case preparation, patient positioning, and intraoperative support to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
- Manage perioperative patient care, ensuring adherence to safety and sterility standards.
- Support documentation and proper use of electronic medical records (Cerner).
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely response within 30 minutes of the facility during scheduled on-call periods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of perioperative or circulating nurse experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric OR experience.
- Knowledge of advanced endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, and bronchoscopy.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
- Additional certifications such as PALS and NRP are a plus.
