Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, PCU, or Stepdown unit.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and ensure accurate and timely updates in electronic health records.
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning as needed.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting (IMC/PCU/Stepdown).
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including EOW (every other week) schedule.
- Flexibility to work during winter holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior trauma or surgery recovery experience.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
