Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in ICU, Med-Surg, and PACU settings, including after-hours care.
• Monitor acute care patients using telemetry, Philips monitors, and other advanced equipment.
• Administer and manage continuous IV medications, perform cardioversions, and assist with patient assessments.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems such as EPIC.
• Float to other departments like Med-Surg, Obstetrics, or Emergency Department as needed.
• Follow proper badge-in and badge-out procedures at the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Minnesota.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including telemetry monitoring.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred).
• Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts; occasional 8-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work two weekends every six weeks.
• Note: Must have last worked for the facility at least 6 months prior if previously employed there.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Med-Surg, Obstetrics (Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum), or Emergency Department.
• Ability to work independently with ICU-skilled staff on duty.
• Comfortable floating to various units as needed.
