Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to adult and geriatric patients in the IMC, PCU, and stepdown units.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to acute changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Valid nursing license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
- Proficiency in IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line management.
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ONS Chemotherapy Certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Experience with PICC line management and rapid response teams.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and falls prevention protocols.
