- Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift (9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Monitor patient vitals and responses, ensuring timely intervention as needed.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesiology teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient status and treatments accurately in electronic medical records.
- Assist with development and adherence to unit policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Support a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PACU nurse.
- Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Mediteck.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Flexibility with shift hours and scheduling.
- Willingness to take call shifts.
- Experience with procedures such as craniotomies and orthopedics.
