Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Nights, 13-week contract, 4x12 or 3x12 shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekdays with minimum of every other weekend and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to acute patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Administer treatments, medications, and protocols according to physician orders
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety procedures during all shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse license
- 2-3 years of ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all via AHA)
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI or CIC certification (can be obtained on-site if staying longer than 3 months)
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Knowledge of emergency protocols and triage procedures
