- Days shifts, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients, including trauma, stroke, and burn cases.
- Manage patient assessments, interventions, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
- Utilize standard emergency and trauma equipment to support patient treatment.
- Follow unit policies and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support patient and family education to promote positive outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas RN license or compact license eligible.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current).
- TNCC, PALS, or equivalent certifications required or in progress.
- Experience in emergency nursing, preferably in a Level I trauma or similar high-acuity setting.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and on-call as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC certification.
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Strong team player with a positive, flexible attitude and patient-first philosophy.
- Proficient with Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems.
