Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Assist with high-risk antepartum patient management and triage assessments.
- Circulate in the operating room during delivery and related procedures.
- Monitor fetal well-being using advanced equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive maternal care.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Experience with GE fetal monitors, EMR systems such as Meditec and CPN.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-risk obstetric environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in STABLE and C-EFM.
- Scrub training experience.
- Prior experience in a Level IV maternity center caring for high-risk obstetric patients.
- Flexible team-player with a positive attitude and adaptable scheduling.
