Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a telemetry stepdown unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document patient statuses using Meditech system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Assist with patient assessments and discharge procedures.
- Adhere to hospital policies including dress code, infection control, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
- At least 2 years of hospital experience, including 2+ years in a specialty unit like PCU or Stepdown.
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications.
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
- Must meet the floating policy; flexible to float as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in PCU or Stepdown units.
- Certifications specific to the specialty.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and advanced nursing skills.
