Schedule / Job Type
- Mids (afternoon/evening shifts), 8-week assignment, hospital-based
Key Responsibilities
- Provide social work services within a hospital setting, focusing on patient support and discharge planning
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care and support continuity of services
- Document patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support patients and their families by offering counseling, resource guidance, and emotional support
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a social worker, specifically in a hospital environment
- Current certification of Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in Behavioral Health Services (BHS) hospitals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
