Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level 3 or 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting.
• Serve as a Charge RN, overseeing unit operations and patient care.
• Float between units as needed based on facility requirements and staff skills.
• Respond to on-call standby duties, including potential after-hours and weekend shifts.
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios, typically 1:3, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Adhere to NICU protocols for delivery and resuscitation situations.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Oregon.
• Proven experience in Level 3 or 4 NICU settings.
• NICU Charge RN experience and delivery/resuscitation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Must have reliable transportation for assignments across multiple facilities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Flexibility to float to other units and facilities within the area.
• Comfort working with adaptable schedules and variable shifts.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
