Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 13-week assignment, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services to inpatient hospital patients in accordance with treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and update care plans using electronic health records.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support patient education regarding wound management and recovery.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Work every other weekend and be available to cover at least two of the three winter holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inpatient hospital wound care setting.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification required.
• EPIC electronic health record system experience required.
• VA license (pending submissions accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital environment with diverse patient populations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
