Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown units.
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient conditions, and document clinical findings.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Proven experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently overnight and handle multiple patient needs.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working night shifts in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and post-operative care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
