Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on established protocols and standards.
- Support patients of all ages and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Follow physician’s orders and hospital policies to deliver safe and effective care.
- Maintain current certifications and compliance with required training and licensing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid RN license from any U.S. state or territory.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification within one year of hire.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within one year of hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification completed within 6 months of hire.
- Emergency Severity Index Level 5 certification within 3 months of hire.
- Patient Sitter Competency Training.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior ER or acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma, stroke, and pediatric emergency protocols.
