Night shifts, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various solid tumor cancers, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, and colon cancers.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and accurate assessment.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage related treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote infection prevention and reduce patient falls.
• Assist patients throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis to treatment and transition to end-of-life care when necessary.
• Document patient information accurately using computerized charting systems (EPIC).

Required Qualifications:

• Valid state nursing license (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or med-surg settings.
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills and telemetry monitoring experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and oncology-specific procedures.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record systems.
