Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a patient care and customer service point of contact for clinical inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
• Assess patient concerns, determine urgency, and deliver appropriate care solutions following protocols.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care, including medication management and treatment plans.
• Follow physician directives and documentation standards, including medical terminology and coding guidelines.
• React calmly and effectively during emergency situations, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited registered nurse (RN) program.
• Minimum of three years of hospital nursing experience or prior triage experience preferred.
• Valid RN license in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, renewed every two years.
• Within four months of hire, obtain and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification as per AHA standards, renewed every two years.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding, and physician office procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in emergency room settings or triage environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
