• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care for patients in a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Perform advanced skills such as IV insertion, wound care, drain management, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing changes.
• Monitor telemetry, administer medications, and perform EKGs as needed.
• Conduct hourly safety rounds and build personal connections with patients.
• Collaborate with unit staff and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN/LPN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• IV certification is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform procedures such as CBI, wound care, drain management, Foley insertions, and telemetry monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse documentation system.
• Strong bedside patient care skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to floating within the same level of care.
