Job Title

• Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS Tech)

• Full-time, rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology laboratory procedures.
• Prepare patient rooms and equipment, ensuring all tools are ready for procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions during invasive procedures, providing routine and emergency care as needed.
• Instruct and support patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Contribute to team training and orientation activities.
• Support quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS (must be obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer).
• Must meet one of the following certification criteria:
  • ARRT-R Radiography and MRT through Texas Medical Board
  • Or, RCIS - Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist
  • Or, RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
  • Or, CEPS - Certified Electrophysiology Specialist
  • Or, CCDS - Certified Cardiac Device Specialist

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience assisting in cardiovascular catheterization or electrophysiology labs.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology equipment and procedures.
• Strong ability to monitor and care for cardiac patients in invasive settings.
