Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures unit.
- Assist with procedures such as CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, Y-90 treatments, and other diagnostic/interventional procedures.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage during call shifts.
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during invasive procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Respond effectively to on-call emergencies during scheduled night and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; 3–5 years preferred, particularly in ICU.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work weekends and overnight call shifts (1700-0700).
- Willingness to float across units as needed.
- Must hold a valid state nursing license without pending restrictions.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in interventional radiology or special procedures.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment.
