Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being during labor and postpartum
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Respond promptly to emergencies and patient needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Certification in AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate coursework
- Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a community hospital setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism
