Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly, 7:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 13-26 week contracts available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity obstetrical care for patients 16 weeks gestation and beyond, including high-risk antepartum, postpartum, and intrapartum care
• Manage obstetrical triage, routine outpatient procedures, and perform scheduled and unscheduled cesarean sections and rescue cervical cerclage
• Monitor and care for high-volume obstetrical patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team using systems such as PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR
• Precept and orient new staff members as needed, with flexibility to float as required
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during intensive labor and delivery procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a high-volume, high-acuity obstetrical setting (preferably 3+ years)
• Experience in circulating the OR and performing sterile vaginal exams
• Valid BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Willingness to work long hours without return-to-office (RTO) after booking
• Ability to handle high patient volumes with ratios of 2:1 and manage 20 births, 30-40 admits, and 40 visits daily

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time traveler acceptable with relevant large-volume obstetrical experience
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and neonatal care
• Experience with OR circulating preferred
