Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and functional respiratory tests to assess patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor and document patients' respiratory progress and responses to treatment.
• Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and equipment use.
• Provide specialized respiratory care for NICU patients, ensuring quality and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification.
• NICU experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in performing diagnostic tests and patient assessments.
• Ability to educate patients and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a critical access hospital setting.
• Experience with pediatric respiratory care.
• CPR and basic life support (BLS) certification.
