Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Schedule / Job Type
• Day shift, full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology (EP) lab.
• Assist with and observe approximately 3 coronary angiograms and 2 peripheral/interventional procedures daily.
• Monitor and interpret telemetric data, including EKG strips, and accurately titrate IV medications.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and lab staff to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency.
• Follow protocols for patient diagnoses such as STEMI, stroke, line placements, and pacemaker insertions.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines, including completing required orientation.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Illinois RN license or active application status.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Previous cath lab experience, with the ability to read telemetric strips and manage IV medications.
• Must provide last four digits of SSN and middle initial upon submission.
• Understanding of OSF's drug-free policy and ability to produce negative drug screens.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with peripheral angiograms or neuro interventions is a plus.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Philips monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively during on-call periods.
