Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown environment.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to patient needs promptly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Participate in holiday rotations and ensure continuous patient coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
- Recent Cardiac Stepdown experience; travel experience acceptable.
- Ohio or Compact State Nursing License.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in PCU or progressive care units (preferred but not required).
- Flexibility to rotate shifts as needed to meet operational needs.
