Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Olathe, KS
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, 36 hours/week, Night shifts (12-hour nights from 1845 to 0715), rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care primarily within the Cardiac Telemetry unit of a 300-bed acute care hospital.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including cardiac drips such as Heparin, Lasix, and Cardizem, and support the initiation of Tikosyn/Sotalol.
• Assist with post-procedure care, including use of TR Bands, and ensure patient safety during cardiac interventions.
• Float to various acute care units as needed, maintaining high-quality patient care across departments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Kansas.
• Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and post-procedure care, including TR Band use.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• 2-5 years of Telemetry experience.
• Familiarity with the initiation and management of Tikosyn/Sotalol.
• Strong understanding of acute cardiac care protocols.
