Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: John Day, OR
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts, Various days/nights/weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care with a focus on labor and delivery procedures.
- Utilize equipment such as HealthLand EMR and OmniCell medication delivery systems.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
- Demonstrate competency in floating to obstetrics units as needed.
- Follow all hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and unit-specific procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Oregon RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- ADN required; BSN preferred.
- Familiarity with computerized charting and medication systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with labor and delivery or obstetrics nursing.
- Ability to demonstrate competency in OB units for floating assignments.
