Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, evening shifts (7:00 PM – 3:00 AM), mids

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to adolescent and adult patients with mental health diagnoses and co-morbidities such as addiction.
• Administer medications via PO, IM, IV, SC, and other routes, ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor patient conditions, including blood glucose and mental health status, and respond appropriately.
• Follow seclusion and physical hold protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using SBAR communication to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately in the MediTech system.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1.5 years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Ability to handle patients with anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, and trauma-related conditions

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with wound care, CPAP management, Foley catheters, and diabetic care
• Previous charge nurse or unit leadership experience
• CPI certification (or ability to obtain training if needed)
