Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (3x12, nights), with holiday rotation; every other weekend required; no on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients within a hospital setting
- Float within scope to all hospital areas, including labor and delivery, to meet patient care needs
- Administer treatments and manage ventilators, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols
- Document patient care activities accurately in hospital systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, ensuring consistent patient coverage
Required Qualifications
- South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license (must be in hand at start)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (must be in hand at start)
- Ability to float across hospital departments as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital with a high-acuity patient population
- Comfort working in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Strong team communication skills
