Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Location: Florence, SC

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, Day shifts (3x12), 6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m., with holiday rotation; every other weekend required. No remote work or telecommuting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across various hospital departments, including critical care units.
• Float within scope to support multiple areas of the hospital, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
• Respond to on-call needs as required, though this position does not include on-call duties.

Required Qualifications:

• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license in hand at start date.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC RRT.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Ability to float to all hospital areas, including labor and delivery, within scope.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience working in a similar acute care or hospital environment.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills to support various units as needed.
