Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients within a hospital setting, including critical care functions.
• Float within scope across all hospital areas, including labor and delivery, to meet clinical needs.
• Administer prescribed treatments and monitor patient responses, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive respiratory support.

Required Qualifications

• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at start date.
• National certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) must be current and in hand at start.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• RRT certification only; CRT is not accepted.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting with critical care patients.
• Ability to float flexibly within hospital units as needed.
