Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week assignment, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Perform microbiology testing, including gram stains, culturing, and blood cultures
• Conduct blood bank testing and phlebotomy procedures
• Rotate through weekend shifts and work holidays as needed
• Handle COVID-19 safety protocols, PPE, and isolation procedures
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload independently
• Support coverage for staffing vacancies and fill in for off-shift needs
Required Qualifications
• Graduate from an approved Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Technologist program
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood bank testing
• Ability to perform microbiology work, including cultures and blood cultures
• Familiarity with COVID-19 safety and PPE protocols
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with microbiology, gram stains, and culture setup
• Previous hospital or critical access laboratory experience
