• Full-time, days shift, mix of 8 and 10-hour days

Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including bubble studies, contrast imaging, TEE, and stress echo procedures.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostics.
• Conduct portable studies in various hospital units, including ICU and ED settings, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with medical team to execute comprehensive echo exams, such as RVIT and RVOT assessments, and utilize Siemens systems if experienced.
• Provide patient care in a level II trauma hospital environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Attend on-call shifts, including nights and weekends, to support diagnostic needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist.
• ARDMS certification and BLS certification required.
• RDCS credential required.
• Ability to perform Adult and Pediatric Echo procedures with specified skills.
• Must be physically present in Illinois at least 3 business days prior to compliance submission for fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Siemens ultrasound systems preferred.
• Skilled in transesophageal echocardiography, pharmacologic stress echo, and contrast imaging.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols related to isolation precautions and ICU/ED procedures.
• Experience working in a Level II trauma center environment.
