Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Medical Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit following established clinical guidelines
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses using electronic health records (Epic experience required)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state licensing regulations
• Float within scope to accommodate unit or facility needs, including possible coverage across similar units or sister facilities when necessary

Required Qualifications
• Active RN license (South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (NIHSS preferred)
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Ability to work 3x12-hour days, with every other weekend required

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience managing patient ratios of 1:4 in a stepdown or PCU setting
• Flexibility to work a block schedule with manager approval upon request
• Ability to float across units or facilities as needed
