Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and radiation therapists to develop and review treatment plans.
- Utilize specialized dosimetry equipment and software to calculate and optimize radiation doses.
- Ensure accuracy and safety in the preparation and delivery of radiation treatments.
- Maintain detailed records of treatment plans and modifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois licensure as a Dosimetrist or confirmation that application is in progress.
- Experience with radiation treatment planning systems and dosimetry software.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Data or documentation confirming eligibility to work in a drug-free environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting as a Dosimetrist.
- Familiarity with radiation oncology protocols and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
