Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum
Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide post-partum care to low- and high-risk mothers and newborns in a busy hospital setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs using Welch Allen vitals machines and perform continuous patient assessments.
- Support breastfeeding, assist with circumcisions, and manage postpartum hemorrhage.
- Conduct hypertension assessments and manage related conditions.
- Perform POC glucose monitoring and other procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated nurses and PCTs to ensure quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Post-partum nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- High-risk postpartum experience.
- Level 2 nursery experience.
